These terms apply when you use KhanTech Labs services, including Motivation Assistance and, where available, FA Tracker. By requesting or using a service, you agree to these terms.
Our services
FA Tracker is a mobile service being developed to support firearm licence, competency and renewal administration. It is currently in private pilot testing.
Motivation Assistance is a once-off service priced at R299. We prepare a personalised firearm licence motivation using the information and supporting details you provide.
KhanTech Labs does not sell firearms, ammunition or weapons. We are an independent business and are not affiliated with or endorsed by SAPS.
Information you provide
You are responsible for providing information and supporting documentation that is complete, accurate and clear. We may ask for further information where it is reasonably needed to prepare the motivation. We cannot start the 48-hour delivery period until all reasonably required information and documentation have been received.
Delivery
After we have received all information and supporting documentation reasonably required to prepare the motivation, we aim to deliver it within 48 hours.
Service limitations
Motivation Assistance is an administrative writing service based on the information you provide. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace any official SAPS process, requirement or decision. You remain responsible for reviewing the completed motivation and for submitting any application or supporting documents required by SAPS.
We do not guarantee that SAPS, or any other authority, will approve an application, accept a motivation, process an application within any period, or reach a particular outcome.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms. A full refund may be requested if we are unable to deliver the motivation within 48 hours after receiving all reasonably required information and documentation. The policy also explains the circumstances in which refunds are not ordinarily available.
Changes or availability
We may update, improve, pause or discontinue services as they develop. We will not use this to avoid an obligation already accepted for Motivation Assistance; in that case, the Refund Policy and applicable law apply.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.
